We believe that a diverse set of backgrounds strengthens our culture at Earnest. Our teams are leading this philosophy through leadership, trust, learning and development, volunteering, and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). This five-pronged approach allows us to provide an environment where an individual can thrive and do their best work while feeling comfortable sharing their ideas. To do better tomorrow, we must be transparent and honest about where we stand today. That starts with attracting diverse perspectives so we can build the best solutions for our customers.
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
Earnest has established Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to provide a sense of belonging and a dedicated space for like-minded people to share their stories. These groups include BEE (Black Earnies and allies), PRIDE (LGBTQ folx and allies), LatinEST (Latinx Earnies and allies), FeminEST (Femme Earnies and allies), and E.A.S.T. (Asian Earnies and allies). Our ERGs come together monthly to discuss their experiences with peers and leave with ideas on how to continue to promote a diverse workplace.
Our mission to maintain and strengthen diversity and inclusion empowers our Earnies to step into leadership roles and allow them to drive the culture themselves. ERGs allow individuals to showcase their passions amongst their peers. Giving our Earnies the space to grow and build upon their diverse backgrounds strengthens collaboration and promotes creativity and innovation.

In addition to ERGs, Earnest is dedicated to ensuring we observe and celebrate diversity. We reflect on our mission to honor all cultures and experiences by elevating holidays like Black History Month, Women’s History Month, Equal Pay Days, Asia Pacific Islander Awareness Month, PRIDE Month, and many others.
To actively show our support, we create virtual backgrounds, blog posts, have outlets where Earnies can share their experiences and thoughts, and highlight why each observance and holiday matters. The world is rich with diversity, and at Earnest, we strive to provide a safe and progressive environment for all which starts with acknowledging each culture and its heritage’s impact on society.
As we look to the future, we are committed to continuing to listen to our Earnies, customers, and communities so we can confront any setbacks and highlight our progress. We will remain focused on retaining and nurturing our key talent so we can be the center for change and continue to build an equitable future and a deeper culture with diversity and inclusion at the helm driving towards an equal future for all.
